9:30 – Meet-up, Check-in
Meet your guide at Haijima Station on the Ome Line. Please wait just outside the ticket gate.

9:40 – Take Taxi to Ishikawa Sake Brewery.

10:00 – 11:00 Brewery Tour
Explore the historic Ishikawa family estate and its sake brewery, showcasing centuries of craftsmanship. Enjoy the subtle aromas of fermenting sake, admire the pristine water and carefully selected rice, and stroll the serene grounds.

11:00 – 12:30 Workshop
Create your own sake lees soap and Japanese sake beauty serum, enjoying the delicate aromas and textures of these traditional ingredients.

12:30 – 13:30 Lunch
Savor a variety of sake in a tasting session and enjoy a comforting Japanese set meal featuring grilled sablefish marinated in sake lees, rich in umami.

13:30 – 14:00 – Return to the station
Take a taxi back to the station, bringing home the sake lees soap and Japanese sake beauty serum you created — a fragrant souvenir of your fermentation journey.

What to bring

-Hand towel -Writing materials (if needed) -Comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty -Sturdy, comfortable shoes (some steps inside the brewery) -Please avoid strong perfumes so you can fully enjoy the aromas

Cancellation policy

Cancellations made by 4:00 PM, two days prior to the tour date, are free of charge. After that, a 100% cancellation fee will apply. This mostly indoor tour will run in rain. Only extreme weather may cause cancellation, with a rescheduled date or full refund offered.

Notes

This tour involves alcohol tasting. Guests who plan to drive are kindly asked to refrain from tasting. Please inform us in advance if you have any allergies to sake lees or fermented foods.
