About
Craft beer is booming in Japan — and at ISANA Brewing in Akishima, you can experience it from the inside. Here, exceptional beer is crafted with Tokyo’s rare 100% deep groundwater, naturally filtered underground for decades. With English-speaking support, you’ll step into the brewing room to grind malt, add ingredients, and learn each step of small-batch brewing — a hands-on process far from automated factories. Then enjoy a tasting of three unique beers brewed on-site, paired with Akishima’s locally loved gyoza. You’ll also discover how the brewery works with the community by reusing grain to support local farming. A relaxed, flavorful four-hour journey into Japanese craft beer culture — become a brewer for a day and experience beer made from truly pure water.
